At DesignBloom, we nurture children’s creativity, analytical reasoning and confidence through architectural thinking - a framework that combines a wide range of disciplines:

Mathematics and Geometry, Art and Design, Cultural Heritage, Sustainability, Sociology, Technology, Communication, Presentation Skills and Collaboration.

Each term, we develop an interdisciplinary programme centered around a unique theme, inviting creatives from diverse fields to share their expertise.

Our hands-on, experimental sessions encourage children to think critically, explore new mediums, and connect ideas across disciplines, giving them the tools to envision and shape the world around them.

By working with local schools, cultural organisations, and communities, DesignBloom ensures that every child has access to inspiring and inclusive creative experiences.

‘‘As an architect with broad experience working on award-winning projects across the UK and abroad, I am deeply passionate about introducing children to the world of design. I believe that design is a transformative tool for encouraging critical thinking, innovation, and self-expression.

At DesignBloom, I am committed to nurturing an inclusive environment where young learners can experiment with new ideas, engage in meaningful teamwork, and develop skills that are crucial for their future. I guide them in connecting concepts from various fields, helping them see design as a lens for understanding the world around them.’’

Co-Founder & Business Development Director

Yorgos Papadakis

“I bring my love for creative learning and technology to DesignBlooms's workshops. As the founder of Filisia, an award-winning educational technology company, I've spent over a decade creating engaging learning experiences for children in schools worldwide. My hands-on workshops have helped learners of all ages discover the joy of design, building and play, while my Master's focused on how combining science, technology, and arts can spark creativity in young minds.

I am delighted to share my passion for STEM and architecture with children in London, helping them explore, create, and build confidence through fun, interactive activities.’’
